Indoor Range Rules
Use of the indoor pistol range for handguns will be given once orientation is completed with a club range officer
Fish House Fish & Game Club Indoor range rules:
These rules have been established by the range officers, board of directors and the general membership.
1. Logbook must be signed in and out and guests must also sign.
2. Everyone must go through an orientation by a range officer before being allowed to use the range.
3. Shooting has hazards; proceed at your own risk.
4. No food or beverages allowed on range.
5. Ear and eye protection must be worn / used at all times.
6. Possible lead hazard, proceed at your own risk.
7. Must comply with all New York state firearm laws.
8. All shooting must be from booths.
9. One person per booth.
10. Rule Ten Amended and is no longer a rule.
11. Firearms must be brought in unloaded!
12. Firearms / pistols to be loaded at firing line only.
13. Only legitimate handgun / pistol calibers allowed.
14. No rifle calibers other than .22 caliber, are to be used, even if it fits into a handgun / pistol.
15. No shotguns or rifle (other than .22 cal), are allowed.
16. No muzzle loading, inline or black powder firearms allowed.
17. No firearms / pistols are to be carried past the firing line / down range.
18. Only paper targets are to be used ( no bowling pins, cans etc. are allowed).
19. No cowboy shooting allowed.
20. No rapid fire shooting allowed.
21. Shoot in your lane only; no side shooting allowed.
22. Archery targets are not to be used for firearm / pistol shooting back stops at any time.
23. Dispose of all trash in the proper receptacles.
24. Our range rules prevail in all situations (such as shooting leagues or any competition matches).
25. Range officer(s) to have final say on all issues.
